Speakers
George Latura

After a career in publishing, George Latura became interested in archeoastronomy and cultural astronomy. This interest led to attending various conferences (INSAP,  SEAC, etc.), to the publication of several papers, and to visiting important locales such as Stonehenge, Delphi, Athens, and others.

Acceptance in the American Astronomical Society (2019) led to attending the yearly Meetings of the Historical Astronomy Division of AAS. At one such HAD meeting, Bradley Schaefer described the impact that Thomas Kuhn's book, 'The Structure of Scientific Revolutions,' had on astronomy and astrophysics research. Kuhn's theoretical framework applies just as well to cultural astronomy and cosmology, which prompted the submission of the poster 'Paradigm and Anomaly: From Medieval Aristotelianism to the Scientific Revolution' for the present INSAP conference.
