Niklas Hietala is a physicist with an interest in the history of science. He likes to find lesser-known stories from history. Although he enjoys most just the study of history, he is also a storyteller. His popular articles have been published in several Finnish magazines. Astronomy is an especially good topic for popularization, since during the long and dark winters the starry sky becomes familiar for all Finns at least on some level.
