Socrates Linardos is an Architect by trade, amateur astronomer and musician and current president of the Astronomical Society of Corfu. He has been a member of the ASoC since 2010. During the last 14 years he has participated in numerous public events organized by the society, has given more than 30 lectures for the public and taken part in astrophotography exhibitions. Along with other members of the Society, he has also been giving astronomy lessons for the public for the last 13 years. He has participated in various panhellenic amateur astronomy conferences and yearly summer meetings in various venues in Greece. He has also been a member of the Board of ASoC since 2015.
