The conference will be hosted at the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece, with key sessions taking place within its historic and academic buildings. Main Venue
The conference activities will be held at the university’s facilities in Corfu’s city centre, including the Ionian Academy and associated campus buildings, which are part of the Ionian University’s academic network. These venues are integrated into the urban fabric of Corfu and are within walking distance of major transport points.
How to Get There
- By Air: Corfu’s “Ioannis Kapodistrias” International Airport is a short drive (approximately 5–10 minutes) from the city centre, offering regular flights from Athens and selected European cities.
- By Sea: If arriving by ferry, the port of Corfu is located within a 10–15 minute walk or a short taxi ride from the university venues.
- By Public Transport: Corfu Town is serviced by local bus routes that connect the airport, port, and central squares. From the main bus hub at San Rocco Square, you can easily walk to the university buildings (7–9 minutes) or board city buses heading toward the city centre.
On Foot & Local Access
The Ionian University buildings are embedded in Corfu’s historic centre, which means many attendees will find that the venues are within a 10–20 minute pleasant walk from downtown hotels, eateries, and key cultural sites.

- As from January 1st, 2025 and according to a new legislation voted by the Greek Government, a climate crisis resilience fee of fifteen (15.00) euros is imposed per night per room, during the months of April to October and four (4.00) euros, during the months of November to March.
