PhD candidate

I am an Architect at the Ephorate of Antiquities of Corfu, where I manage the utilization and reconstruction of monuments predating the 18th century, overseeing project management, documentation, and financial coordination.

I hold an MSc in Reuse of Buildings and Ensembles and an Integrated Master in Architecture from the University of Thessaly. I am currently a PhD candidate at the Ionian University, researching the adaptive reuse of industrial heritage in Corfu to enhance urban resilience, inclusive housing, and sustainable cultural development.

My work bridges academic research and professional practice, combining archival investigation, spatial analysis, and architectural documentation to inform heritage-led urban regeneration strategies. I am particularly interested in how industrial and cultural heritage can contribute to resilient creative economies and socially responsible tourism, strengthening both local communities and Mediterranean destinations.

Through my research and practice, I aim to develop evidence-based strategies that integrate heritage preservation, adaptive reuse, and social objectives, supporting sustainable and resilient urban futures.
