Professor Simon Rogerson BSC FBCS FIMIS MCMI FRSA
Title: "Addressing online information integrity in the information age"

Simon Rogerson is Professor Emeritus in Computer Ethics and former Director of the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility at De Montfort University. He is experienced in identifying the ethical issues related to new technologies. He is Europe's first Professor in Computer Ethics. He received the 2000 IFIP Namur Award for outstanding contribution to the creation of awareness of the social implications of ICT. In 2005 he became the first non-American to be given the prestigious SIGCAS Making a Difference Award by the ACM. Following a successful industrial career where he held managerial posts in the computer field, he now combines research, lecturing and consultancy in the management, organisational and ethical aspects of information and communication technologies. He was a Visiting Research Professor in 2005-06 at the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics, Australian National University. He was a member of the 2005 FP6 Monitoring Review Panel of the European Commission and author of "Ethical Guidelines for undertaking ICT research in FP7" which appears as an appendix in the application forms for calls in FP7. He is currently working on two FP7 projects PHM-Ethics; Personalized health monitoring (PHM): interdisciplinary research to analyse the relationship between ethics, law and psychosocial as well as medical sciences (grant agreement 230602), and ETICA; Ethical Issues of Emerging ICT Applications (grant agreement 230318). He is a member of the Ethics Advisory Board of UMSIC; Usability of Music for Social Inclusion of Children (grant agreement 224561). He is co-editor of the Journal of Information, Communication and Ethics and Society. He conceived and co-directs the ETHICOMP conference series on the ethical impacts of ICT and created the world's leading portal on computer ethics. He is Chair of Council and Vice President of the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS), and a member of the BCS Ethics Group.

Professor Lambros Kotsiris
Title: "Information Age. A Step Forward"
Lambros Kotsiris is Professor emeritus of Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Member of the Greek Academy. He teaches at the National School of Judges, at the Hellenic Open University and at the Law School of the Aristotelian University (Erasmus students and students of the LL.M. Program). He has been the Head of the Legal Department in Greek banks (Chios Bank and Piraeus Bank). He has chaired and participated in numerous national and international conferences, in WIPO and in UNCITRAL. He has served as member (and president) of many Committees working on law proposals in the fields of copyright, the structural reform of privatization, insolvency law and the adoption of Model Insolvency Law of UNCITRAL. He served also as a member and as a president of many institutions, such as the Hellenic Copyright Organization, the National Committee of Professional Athletics and the Institute of the Aegean for the Law of the Sea & Maritime Law. He has written more than 200 monographs, books, studies and articles, on all subjects of Commercial Law –and not only- in Greek, English, German and French.
