Anne Martin has a B.A. (Hons) Languages (Translation and Interpreting) from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, U.K., and a PhD in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Granada, Spain. She is an interpreter trainer and senior lecturer at the University of Granada, where she was Coordinator of the Master’s Programme in Conference Interpreting from 2013-2017. She is a member of the GRETI Research Group (Interpreting and the Challenges of Globalisation: Training and Professional Practice) funded by the Andalusian Regional Government. Her research focuses on interpreting and ideology. She is a practising conference interpreter and member of AICE (Spanish Professional Association of Conference Interpreters).
