Anabella-Gloria Niculescu-Gorpin is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Linguistics if the Romanian Academy. She was awarded a PhD by the University of Manchester and is a Fulbright alumna. Her research focuses on pragmatics, persuasion, psycholinguistics and on different aspects of human communication and translation. She has coordinated several international research projects as Principal Investigator and has been part of many other collective ones. She has published extensively in important journals, and participated in over 100 international conferences. She is currently conducting research on the interface bewtween human communication and theatre.
