Dr. Alexandropoulou-Egyptiadou Evgenia is Associate Professor in Computer Law at the Department of Applied Informatics, University of Macedonia - Thessaloniki - Greece. She is also attorney at law at the Supreme Court (Bar of Thessaloniki). She used to be, for several years, head of the legal department of a Greek bank (Egnatia Bank) and member of the editorial committee of the Law Review Harmenopoulos (edited by the Bar of Thessaloniki). Nikolaos Farantouris is an Assistant Professor at the International and European Studies Department, University of Piraeus, and a qualified lawyer specializing in EC and competition, trade and regulatory law. He studied law at the University of Athens and completed a Masters degree (M.Jur.) and a Doctorate (D.Phil.) in Law at the University of Oxford. A former research fellow at the Universities of Rotterdam, Dresden and Athens, Prof. Farantouris has worked for a number of years at Norton Rose in London, Brussels and Athens, where he handled major antitrust, merger control, multinational cartel and state aid cases before national and international authorities, the EU Commission and the European Court of Justice. Prof. Farantouris has also gained experience as a member of the Hellenic Competition Commission, the legal committee of the Union of Greek Shipowners and of the Board of Directors of the Greek Public Gas Corporation. Ioannis Iglezakis is an Assistant Professor of Computers & Law at the Faculty of Law in the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki (Greece) and attorney-at-law at the Thessaloniki Bar Association. Munenori Kitahara is Professor of legal informatics (Rechtsinformtik) at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and the Graduate School of Economic Sciences in Hiroshima Shudo University, Japan. Marina P. Markellou is an Intellectual Property Attorney in Greece. After accomplishing a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property (LLM) on September 2005 in Montpellier of France, she defended her PhD thesis on copyright contracts in France, Greece and Germany on September 2009. Her primary research interests concern intellectual property in the digital age as well as electronic business law, data protection law and antitrust law. Member of the Greek group of the International Literal and Artistic Association (ALAI), she often participates as a legal expert in many European programs such as the IDABC project on December 2008 (creation by the European Commission of the first European Public Open Source License) or the Twinning Project on December 2007 (enforcement of Turkish IP law). Since 2006, Mrs Markellou regularly publishes articles and comments on internet related cases in Greek and foreign law reviews. Stathis Mihos was born in Athens, Greece, in 1964. He studied Law at the University of Athens and later got his postgraduate degree (LL.M.) on Information Technology and Telecommunications Law from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He also holds a M.A. degree in Tourism Business Administration. He worked as a Lawyer in Law Firms and in recent years he manages in-house legal departments for international companies (for Lafarge -"AGET Heracles"- from 2001 until 2006 and for BP –"BP Hellas"- since then. In December 2009, "BP Hellas" was renamed to "Hellenic Fuels", after having been sold to the "Hellenic Petroleum" Group). Maria Milossi, born in Thessaloniki-Greece, 1979, is attorney at law at the Bar of Thessaloniki since 2005. She graduated at the Faculty of Law of the School of Law, Economics and Political Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2003) and received her master degree (DESS) on Internet Law (Droit de l’Internet) from the Faculty of Law of the Sorbonne Paris-I Panthéon University in Paris, France (2004). During her post graduate studies, she worked for the Communication Service of the same University as responsible for legal issues, co-operated with French Personal Data Authority (CNIL) and helped to the reconstruction of University’s dynamic site by creating new data-bases. At the moment, she is preparing her PhD in personal data entitled “The legal protection of economic personal data and their electronic treatment in Greece and France” at the University of Macedonia-Department of Applied Informatics. Since 2008 she teaches legal informatics, public administration and e-government at the Interbalkan Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) in Thessaloniki. George Nouskalis was born in 1969 in Thessaloniki. Since 1992 he has been working as a lawyer in the same town. He completed his under- and post-graduate studies in the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He got a first degree in both levels of study, getting at the same time an honorary scholarship. He wrote a dissertation on the "Criminal protection of computer software" (ed. SAKKOULA, THESSALONIKI 2003) and a monograph “Criminal protection of personal data” (ed. SAKKOULA, THESSALONIKI 2005). In 2001 he acquired his Phd from the Law School of the Aristotle University with the grade "Very Good". He has also participated in writing the monograph on Hellas for the International Encyclopaedia of Cyber Law, part VII, on Computer Related Crime.
From 1992 until 1998 he was teaching, as a Special Postgraduate Scholar in the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Science of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Criminal Law to the undergraduate students on a scheme of private tutoring.
Some of his work has been published in various legal journals: "YPERASPISI", "POINIKI DIKAIOSINI" , "POINIKA XRONIKA", as well as in the newspapers "ELEFTHEROTIPIA" and “TA NEA” (2004). From 2000 till 2005 he teached Criminal Law in the School of Vocational Training of the Greek Police in its Department in Thessaloniki. At the same time, he has developed social and syndicalist activities. He participated as a candidate during the 2002 and 2005 elections for the administrative board of the Bar of Thessaloniki city.. Ugo Pagallo is a full Professor in Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Turin, since 2000. He graduated cum laude at the University of Bologna (1983) and he is member of the National Bar Association of Italy since 1986. PhD in Philosophy of Law at the University of Padua (1990), he previously taught at the Universities of Chieti, Bari, and at the Military Academy of Modena. Dr. Maria Daphne Papadopoulou graduated in 1996 from the Law School at Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki. From the same University she received her first Master's Degree in Commercial and Economic Law (1998). He graduated from the Law School of the National University of Athens in 1988. He continued for post-graduates studies in the Faculty of Law of the University of Bristol, England. In 1994 he was conferred the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of public international law.
He has published two books and several articles on Greek-Turkish relations, the law of the Sea, the Balkans and minorities.
Between 2007 and 2009 he was the Secretary for Intercultural Education and Greek Studies Abroad of the Greek Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs.
Between 1999-2001 and 2004-2005 he worked as a legal advisor to the Greek ministry of Foreigh Affairs.
Between 2000-2003 he worked as a Legal Expert to the Council of Europe in two Cooperation Programmes on administrative reforms in the field of human rights protection in Azerbaijan and Montenegro.
In 1993-1994 he worked as a Research Fellow at the Research Centre for International Law of the University of Cambridge and he was a Research Associate of Corpus Christi College of the University of Cambridge.
For seven years (2000-2007) he was the Vice President and a founding member of the Greek Chapter of Transparency International. Also, between 2005-2009 he was director of the International Olympic Truce Centre which is included within the framework of the Olympic Movement.

Roxana Theodorou is an Archivist – Librarian with an MA in Electronic Publishing and Communication from UCL. She is a Phd candidate and a Guest Lecturer at the Ionian University, in the Department of Archive and Library Science. Her main –but not sole- academic interest is in academic publishing and the economics of scientific information as a common good. She teaches Information Science, Information Resources, Conservation and Preservation etc. She has done several presentations at the Pan-Hellenic Conference of Academic Libraries and at the IFLA conference.

Stavros Togias (born in Athens, 1978) is a PhD candidate in the University of Athens Faculty of Law. He holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Law and Procedure from the afore mentioned Faculty. His current research explores issues in the fields of search and seizure of computer data, on-line criminal investigations and digital evidence. Alongside his academic interests, he is an Attorney at Law (Athens Bar Association, 2002) specializing in Criminal Law, with an emphasis on white-collar and electronic crime.

Miss Nataša M. Tomic graduated at the Faculty of Law, University in Belgrade (average grade A) in 1996. She was honored with the “Nikola Stjepanovic” first award in 1997 for her study “Administrative contracts – issues and concerns”. In 1999 she won the special prize on the Contest of Essays of the Latino-American Center for Administration (CLAD) for her paper about public servants for the 21st century presented in October in Mexico City. Her papers have been published in several scientific journals and presented at national and international conferences. Besides her excellent English, Nataša Tomic speaks French language and she is also improving Italian and modern Greek language. In the last few years she took participation at the foreign scientific Symposiums and Summer Schools (Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, France, Mexico, Poland). At these Symposiums she elaborated scientific works. She also published several scientific articles in Yugoslav Law periodicals. In 2000 year she spent three months on Faculty of Law in Athens doing research for thesis and got specialization in Environmental Law.
Nataša Tomic defended cum laude her master thesis and got Master degree in 2002 at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. In 2008 she defended cum laude her Ph.D. thesis and got doctoral degree at the same Faculty. On the open competition of “Andrejevic Foundation” her master thesis and her doctoral thesis have both been selected for publication and published as the best in their scientific discipline.
Today Dr Nataša Tomić is teaching Traffic Law, Maritime Law and Aviation Law as the Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, at the University of Belgrade.

Thanos K. Tsingos is an attorney at law and a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2005. He Holds a Bachelor Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Thrace (Greece) and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Information Technology, Media and E – Commerce from the Faculty of Law, University of Essex (UK). He is a collaborator of the Centre of International and European Economic Law and a member of the relevant E-Business Forum Group dedicated to study the application of the Creative Commons and GPL&LGPL Licenses comparatively across the EU member States. Since 2007 he has been participating in many international and European conferences and workshops and has published several journal articles. He currently works in Greece as a legal adviser at four software development companies.

Theodoros D. Trokanas was born in Thessaloniki in 1978. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2000. He holds a Master’s degree on «Human Rights and Protection of the Humanity» in a private law specialty from the University of Burgundy in France. He is a candidate Phd at the Civil Law Sector of the Faculty of Law at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has a particular interest in the area of bioethics and biolaw, majoring in the implications of assisted human reproduction on family law. He has been a lawyer and a member of the Bar Association of Thessaloniki since 2002. He has an excellent command of English, French as well as a good command of German and Spanish.

Evangelia Vagena is an Attorney at Law with an academic background and professional experience in information technology and copyright law. She holds a Master's degree in Law and Information Technology from the university of Montpellier I and she is currently finishing her thesis on digital protection and management of copyright at the Law school of the University of Athens. As a legal counsellor for the Hellenic Copyright Organization of the Greek Ministry of Culture, she represents Greece at the international organizations and European Union instruments dealing with copyright policy issues. She is also a member of the National Council for e-commerce at the Ministry of Development, member of the educational staff at the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government (E.K.D.D.A.) and an expert of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) for the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme Leonardo Da Vinci for the Transfer of Innovation multilateral Projects. She has been the coordinator of legal affairs for Business Software Alliance (BSA) in Greece as well as a scientific cooperator of the online legal data base of the Athens Bar Association. She was the project manager of the "Development of an Integrated Information System on Copyright" part of the special Operational Program (OPIS) within the scope of the 3rd CSF undertaken by the Hellenic Copyright Organization and she is in charge of the Unit for the Management of the EU funded and National projects of the same organization. Petroula Vantsiouri is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Cambridge and her research explores topics in intellectual property law. She holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, a Postgraduate Specialization Diploma from the University of Thessalonki, and a law degree from the University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She has worked as a practicing lawyer, a trainee for the Office of Harmonization in the Internal Market and as a research assistant, and she is a member of the New York State Bar Association as well as of Thessaloniki Bar Association.

Georgios Yannopoulos (born Athens, 1964) is a Lecturer at the Department of Law of the University of Athens, teaching Legal Informatics. He is a graduate of the same Faculty (1988) and holds interdisciplinary qualifications in Computer Programming (1986) and Systems Analysis (1987). He has accomplished a PhD (1996, Greek State Scholarship) and has conducted post-doctoral research (1997), at Queen Mary College, University of London. In 1996-97 he was a Senior Research Fellow at the University of London and in 1998 a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster. From 1999 to 2004 he was a Special Teaching Fellow at the University of Athens. He is the author of two books and various publications relating to substantive IT Law and Computer Applications in Law. His research interests include Internet Law and Regulation, the Liability of Intermediaries, Access to Legal Information, Legal Databases and Legal Expert Systems. He is a Lawyer (admitted 1990, Athens Bar Association), currently counselling a bank and has worked in telecommunications (OTE SA) and the Organising Committee of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
